Élan is led by Mr Murtuza Sikander, Consultant Neurosurgeon. His approach is informed by medical training, anatomical knowledge and the precision required throughout surgical practice.
That knowledge shapes the consultation as much as the treatment: what is appropriate, what is unnecessary, and what is best left alone.
The Élan process
Every treatment starts before the treatment itself.
01 — Consultation
We begin by understanding what concerns you, what you hope to achieve and the relevant medical context.
02 — Assessment
Anatomy, proportion and movement are considered before treatment options are discussed.
03 — Treatment plan
If treatment is appropriate, an individual plan is agreed with you. The proposed treatment, limitations, risks and alternatives are discussed before you decide whether to proceed.
04 — Treatment & aftercare
Treatment is carried out according to the agreed plan, with appropriate aftercare information and a clear route to contact the clinic if you have concerns.
Restraint
Knowing when not to treat matters too.
Aesthetic medicine is not simply about what can be done. It is also about judgement.
Sometimes the appropriate recommendation may be to do less. Sometimes it may be to do nothing at all.
Restraint is part of the treatment philosophy.
